Make your move, Join us!Job DescriptionAs part of the chassis launching team, the Chassis Quality Leader (CQL) animates the quality check of all incoming chassis parts, as well as all the chassis defects detected at the manufacturing plant.Location:
  • April - November 2024: Turin
  • December 2024 - September 2025: Melfi
Responsibilities :In association with the Chassis Technical Manager and its chassis team, the CQL:
  • Analyze IQF, IQA, QAU faults on captive fleet vehicle and reporter fleet vehicle.
  • Writes the control sheets for any new part
  • Translates the control sheets for the carry-over parts
  • Establishes a quality status of all the incoming parts, and fill in SIGAPP accordingly (Ensures that the inspection report is complete and that the parts comply with the definition at each stage.)
  • Loop back with the Design Business line upon arrival of a new part to confirm the need and the nature of the change
  • Analyses, in association with the TCQ team, all chassis defects detected either on incoming parts, or during the manufacturing process, or on vehicle (Have or carry out the tests (mountability, metrology, functional, …) necessary to verify the conformity of the samples and their use in the process.)
  • Performs a daily follow-up of all defects towards the project team during the “morning market”
  • Participates to any Chassis line side review with the manufacturing people
  • Adds all relevant information in PLM
  • Writes the process sheets for transitory solutions
  • Asks for any necessary deviation
  • Contributes to the APQP/PPAP animation
KEY DECISION:
  • Define if a component can be used for project vehicle assembly according to project quality targets
  • Define palliative action in case of non-conformity found
MAIN WORKING RELATIONSHIPSSummarizes the progress of analyzes and the treatment of defects (non-conformity of parts, assembly anomalies, problem of definition, ...) at each stage of the project on the adapted Powertrain and chassis vehicle perimeters
  • Experience in minimum 1 Launch of an xP program (Launcher or Reskin 2)
  • Has or performs the tests (mount ability, metrology, functional, etc.) necessary to verify the conformity of the parts and their use in the process.
  • Participate (under the leadership of the DQL) in the correct maturity of the deliverables for the transfer to serial life of the project.
  • Participate in the morning market and take into account the post-it notes from the CMAG (PRS), Chassis and ADTH (under engine hood) perimeters.
  • Participate in the GRQ.
  • Reports (reporting) to the SSTM / RSAS project.
  • Distributes and displays the project follow-up under Doc Info (A3 project follow-up made with BCIQ / DQL).
  • Participate in RETEX vis-à-vis Projects and Trades.
  • Participate in the transfer of parts from ONL to CPL and with QCP for the serial life launch.
  • Participate in the weekly animation of the UEC Core Team.
  • Produce a summary document at the end of the project for transfer to QCP and invite the people concerned to present and comment on this document

  • Quality methods such as capability calculation, monitoring plan, FMEA…
  • English AND Italian knowledge Intermediate level (B2​ and up)
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • Basic quality control tools (such as metal rule or sliding caliper)
