The ideal candidate is willing to provide authentic, luxury experiences in world-renowned destinations to our guests, demonstrating care, confidence and curiosity. He/she is passionate about service and willing to grow professionally.He/She will Report to the Front Desk Manager.Main Duties & Responsabilities:
- Support the Front Desk Manager in the day-to-day management of reception operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the reception team to ensure efficient and effective service
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Prepare and reconcile daily financial reports and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist with administrative duties, such as updating reservation logs and managing guest lists.
- Train and mentor reception staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in similar roles like Assistant Front Desk Manager, within luxury 5-star hotels or international chains.
- Excellent knowledge of Front Office operations and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera PMS, HMS).
- Strong customer focus and a natural aptitude for delivering an exceptionally high standard of service.
- Outstanding leadership, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex situations calmly and professionally.
- Fluent command of both Italian and English (written and spoken) is essential. Knowledge of a third language (e.g., French, German, Russian, Arabic) will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Secondary school diploma or university degree, preferably in tourism or hospitality management.
- We offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 3, Asssitant Front Desk Manager;
- Start date: April 2026 to End date: November 2026, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path;
- Salary as by CCNL + increase based on seniorirty and skill level, separate payslip for 13°,14° and TFR;
