Its turbogas fleet is already capable of burning between 40 and 70 per cent hydrogen, with the aim of reaching 100 per cent by 2030.PositionSupport the mechanical and instrumental setup of tests on gas turbine components, perform the commissioning of measurement chains, supervise the acquisition and monitoring of tests, and prepare reports relating to experimental activity.Main accountabilities:· Design and preparation of proper data acquisition systems for the monitoring of gas turbine.· Follow up on hardware procurement by evaluating offers and selecting suppliers.· Ensure correct functioning of test equipment and instrumentation by checking the complete measurement chains installed on site.· Support experimental test campaigns for the validation of turbomachinery during medium and long-term monitoring, ensuring the recording of useful data, both on-site and remotely.· Manage data structures by taking care of their back-up and storage.· Support in the post-processing of validation data by preparing the relevant reporting.Requirements· Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or similar field.· Knowledge of measurement chains concept for experimental test and validation.· Knowledge of acquisition systems, preferably in the National Instruments environment, both hardware and software.· Basic knowledge of numeric computing platform like MatLab or Python for data processing.· Good cooperation with colleagues to ensure effective testing and efficient project progress.· Proactivity in identifying and solving problems, possession of practical skills and manual dexterity.· Meticulous approach to organization of testing, documentation and materials.· Availability to travel within Italy or abroad (on average 60 days per year, of which a maximum of 20 consecutive days).· Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.Other informationThis announcement is addressed to candidates of both genders in accordance with the law (L.903/77)Video
