It operates through its three Global Business Lines: NHOA Energy, Free2move eSolutions and Atlante.Born in 2005 as a technological spin-off of the Politecnico di Torino and Milano, NHOA leverages its best-in-class technology and engineering edge, developed in over 15 years of R&D, paired with strategic partnerships and global procurement, to deliver the most competitive tailor-made turn-key solutions that allow the integration of renewable sources with all forms of energy storage, from batteries to hydrogen and even electric vehicles.NHOA, with offices in France, the United States and Australia, maintains entirely in Italy research, development and production of its technologies.NHOA Energy is recruiting a Project Engineer to join NHOA’s engineering department and contribute on the delivery of Battery Energy Storage System projects worldwide.The Engineer Manager is responsible for managing engineering and design activities for the delivery of turn-key Battery Energy Storage Systems and acts as the primary technical point of contact for project partners’ technical teams, NHOA project team, and other project stakeholders.Tasks and DutiesGeneral Responsibilities· Overall management of engineering and design activities for the BESS project delivery· Mobilize and coordinate resources from NHOA’s Design Engineering team to support the preparation of the technical deliverables required as per the engineering plan of the project· Monitor project progress in compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards· Manage positive relationships with project partners’ technical teams, NHOA project team, and other project stakeholders (Suppliers, Consultants, etc.)· Strong engagement with NHOA Project Engineering based on the key geographies (US, Australia, Taiwan), ensuring alignment on activities, processes, technical approach, and other head office requirementsProject Responsibilities (SOW)· Management and coordination of engineering activities· Management and submission of all engineering related contract deliverables· Ensure fit-for-purpose procurement of all project battery storage equipment· Prepare FAT procedures and attend to FAT in Suppliers/NHOA premises· Support Project Engineer and project partner(s) in all relevant commissioning activities· Participate to hot commissioning activities and SAT on-site· Delivery training requirements for BESS· Ensure all warranties and guarantees are appropriate and achievedProject Responsibilities (Management)· Management of all engineering and design deliverables· Management of engineering schedule, ensuring project schedule accurately reflects engineering activities· Manage all internal and external reporting requirements for engineering and design activitiesIdeal Candidate· Master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar· At least 5 years’ experience in design and/or commissioning of power plants / substations· Experience in on-field activities on MW-sized power plants· Fluent knowledge of the English languageNice to have:· Experience in turn-key delivery of BESS· Knowledge of a second language (Chinese, Spanish or French)Soft Skills· Interpersonal and communication skills toward both internal and external stakeholders· Open-minded approach, capability to work in an international and multi-cultural team· Troubleshooting aptitude, problem solving orientation, quick adaptation to changes.· Ability to effectively prioritize and plan tasksLocation: Milan, Italy.
