We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer / Senior Backend Developer to be responsible for the technical development of our solutions. You will be building and maintaining scalable and reliable architecture and backlog.Being in a flexible and fast-changing environment, you will play a critical role in taking strategic choices and will feel the impact of these choices right away, having the opportunity to actively participate in the evolution of our technologies and achievement of our mission.You’ll work closely with Startup Bakery's operating team. The Technology Department in Startup Bakery will provide support in all product strategy implementations, structures and key decisions making processes.Key responsibilities:

Designing and developing scalable APIs
Contributing to the development of our core algorithms
Developing and managing databases and applications
Working with data scientists and analysts to improve our software solutions

Must have:

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant fields
4+ Years experience as a Backend Software Engineer/Developer
Proficiency with Python and Node.js - other technologies such as Scala/Java are a plus

Nice to have:

Master's Degree, PhD, Certifications or similar
Experience with microservices paradigm (e.g. GraphQL, Rest)
