- Set sales targets and goals for mass market, kiosk, hobby and hobby retail product channels, and ensure targets are met or exceeded
- Analyze local market opportunities and needs, develop country specific strategies in order to achieve sales targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential partnerships within the hobby industry
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the Sales and Marketing team in Italy, providing guidance and support to help them achieve individual and team KPI's
- Work together with existing and new distribution partners, local suppliers and internal departments to deliver a smooth business operation and sustainable growth targets
- Develop and execute strategies and plans to plans to expand the customer base
- Establish strong relationship with all the stakeholders in this category (influencers, breakers, stores, distributors, sport clubs)
- Oversee Trading Card shows and events strategy in Italy
- Define and implement Marketing , Communication and Promotional strategy for the category collectibles (trading cards, stickers, flow pack)
- Monitor market trends and customer preferences to identify areas for improvement and innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing and Product Development, to develop and launch new products and promotional campaigns
- Analyze sales data and generate reports to track performance, identify trends, set pricing & forecasting, and provide insights for decision-making
- Stay up to date with industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices in hobby and collectibles sales
- Working together internal departments (operations, brand, finance) to secure allocation, delivery and profitable growth
- At least 8 years' experience in a sales and marketing leadership position in a relevant industry (collectibles, hobby, sports, toys, entertainment)
- A sports fan with a strong understanding of the commercial landscape, with priority given to collectors
- English and Italian fluency are a must
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Proven knowledge and application of a wide range of sales techniques and concepts to increase sales within the region
- Knowledge on the mass market & hobby trading card landscape will be a plus
- Ideally connected with games, hobby, bookstores and toy chains
- Engagement with local influencers and flagship stores in hobby & entertainment category
