- Help Regional Sales Managers solve the operational issues emerging day by day, like customer complaints, pricing, and returns management.
- Follow-up dashboard to track and analyze business performance: track and analyzed the field activity together with Regional Managers and propose action if needed.
- Source of proposal to define how to increase Sales Reps, RAM and RSM performance.
- Partner with the BI team to ensure forecast accuracy by collecting bottom-up information from different areas.
- Effectively implements the field coverage plan and customer segmentation, ensuring it is followed effectively at the territory level and modified as required to reflect changing business needs.
- Maintain awareness of competitive developments and market conditions, ensuring the effective internal communication and appropriate responses are provided through adaptation of strategies and plans.
- Supports the implementation of engagement activities within the field sales team. Ensures performance and development conversations are planned on time and effectively.
- Responsible of training and development programs implementation to the sales team.
- Recruits, trains and develop new members of the team and evaluate their activities to ensure high performance and engagement. Define the most appropriate approach to recruitment and ensure full involvement in all hiring decisions.
- Work closely with other functions to ensure the field sales team is equipped with the appropriate tools, sales materials, and promotional activities in a timely fashion to achieve business goals and key objectives.
- Participate in regional projects working with the EMEA team.
- Any other related duties connected with the Company's business.
- 7+ years of related experience in sales with demonstrated business development experience in complex multinational environments.
- 7+ optical or health care industry experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, accustomed to leading sales and commercial workforce, and a history of cultivating meaningful customer solutions outside and in the contact lens industry.
- Solid sales professional and a strategic leader.
- Strong roots in a sophisticated B2B sales environment but should also be comfortable in distributor management.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multifunctional teams. Strong interpersonal and judgment skills which will be required to influence internal and external teams. Juggling multiple projects and a complex commercial calendar will be critical to success in this role (successful project management experience expected).
- Proficient in English, spoken and written.
- Broad sales skills; proven success in building successful trade terms strategy including identifying growth opportunities.
- Able to travel 70% of the time throughout Italy and occasionally internationally.
- Represent the company at evening/weekend exhibitions and seminars when required.
