As a Low-Code Automation Engineer, you'll design, build, and optimize advanced automation workflows across multiple platforms, ensuring reliable execution, scalability, and efficient data handling within integrated systems.Key Responsibilities

Design and evaluate complex automation workflows across business tools and platforms.
Build and optimize workflows using low-code platforms (Make.com, n8n), APIs, webhooks, and event-based logic.
Implement custom JavaScript within automation tools to handle advanced logic, transformations, and edge cases.
Connect and synchronize data across platforms (Airtable, Google Sheets, Notion, CRMs, or similar systems).
Ensure reliable execution of workflows with proper error handling, logging, and fallback mechanisms.
Troubleshoot and improve automation performance, reduce failures, and optimize efficiency.
Support automation of communication and operational workflows (e.g., messaging, outreach, notifications).

CompensationOn this project, contributors can earn up to $50 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution.Compensation varies across projects depending on scope, complexity, and required expertise. Please note that other projects on the platform may offer different earning levels based on their requirements.Requirements

At least 3 years of relevant experience in low-code/no-code automation, workflow development, or software development (required).
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical fields is a plus.
Strong experience working with APIs, webhooks, and data exchange formats (JSON or similar) within automation platforms.
Proven ability to design and manage complex workflows across multiple SaaS tools and systems using low-code solutions.
Solid experience connecting and synchronizing data across platforms (Airtable, Google Sheets, Notion or similar).
Experience building reliable automation workflows with proper error handling, retries, logging, and validation mechanisms.
Demonstrated experience building scalable, fault-tolerant automation workflows across multiple tools and platforms.
Strong understanding of API limitations within automation tools (rate limits, pagination, authentication) and performance optimization techniques.
Experience working with real-time vs. scheduled (batch) automation workflows and selecting appropriate approaches.
Experience automating communication systems (email, messaging APIs, outreach workflows).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workflow reliability and consistency.
Self-directed work ethic with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows independently.
Portfolio or examples of advanced automation workflows or low-code projects is a plus.
English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above (required).
