Multibody Simulation Engineer
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and applying multibody simulation models to analyze and optimize the dynamic behavior of racing motorcycles. Your work will directly contribute to performance, safety, and innovation on the track.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed multibody models of motorcycles using tools such as MSC Adams, Simpack, or VI-Motorcycle
- Simulate dynamic scenarios including cornering, braking, acceleration, and rider interaction
- Analyze suspension kinematics, chassis behavior, and tire-road interaction
- Collaborate with design, testing, and race engineering teams to translate simulation insights into design improvements
- Validate simulation models using experimental and track data
- Support the development of virtual testing environments and performance prediction tools
- Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronic Engineering
- Solid understanding of vehicle dynamics, especially for two-wheeled vehicles
- Experience with multibody simulation software (e.g., Adams, Simpack, VI-grade)
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink or Python for data analysis and scripting
- Familiarity with CAD tools and data acquisition systems
- Fluent in English
- Experience in motorsport or racing environments
- Knowledge of tire modeling and rider-vehicle interaction
- Experience with co-simulation (e.g., MBS + control systems)
- Familiarity with telemetry data and post-processing tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
