In 2022, Kering had over 47,000 employees and revenue of €20.4 billion.We are currently seeking an R2R Assistant Manager for Corporate and Logistic companies, who will report to the Head of Financial Shared Services as part of our dynamic team in Florence.Job DescriptionYour opportunityAs part of the Financial Shared Services team, The Corporate R2R Assistant Manager will oversee the company's financial statement preparation and consolidation, intercompany accounting, fixed asset, and general ledger management. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.How you will contribute
  • Lead and coordinate the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all R2R accounting activities
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Perform and oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Manage and reconcile fixed asset accounts, ensuring proper accounting treatment and compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate and reconcile intercompany transactions to ensure accurate recording and elimination of intercompany balances.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audit engagements.
  • Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring the company's accounting practices remain in compliance.
  • Lead the preparation of annual statutory financial statements in compliance with local accounting standards.
  • Manage and lead a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance and collaboration within the team.
Who you are
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Knowledge of both principles that govern the general and fiscal accounting of a company and of national and international accounting standards (IFRS)
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office and solid SAP knowledge
  • Good knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken, French is a plus
