
Integrated Product Support Manager – Defence Industry

- Engage cross-functional engineering teams (obsolescence analysis, RAMT, LSA, technical documentation, supply chain, STTE, training) to ensure effective delivery of Integrated Product Support activities.
- Analyze technical issues related to product supportability and propose solutions.
- Coordinate transversal functions and ensure alignment with project milestones, cost, and schedule.
- Participate in design reviews and follow up on corrective actions and outcomes.
- Draft and maintain a critical issues register, integrating contributions from System Engineering and Configuration Management.
- Ensure technical coordination and communication with customer representatives.
- Contribute to the preparation of supportability reports, starting from obsolescence analysis and stakeholder inputs.
- Verify supply items throughout all phases: acquisition/production, documentation, PLM data creation, NATO Unique Code (NUC) requests, compliance verification, configuration control boards (CCB), and final inspections.
- Monitor repair and material shipment activities in collaboration with Manufacturing & Supply Chain, ensuring contractual SLA compliance.
- Produce reports and documentation on Reliability, Maintainability, Availability, Testability (RMAT), FMECA, maintenance plans, spare part lists, and LSDB population.
- Collect and analyze field data to generate periodic reports on system performance and support.
- Support ticketing and issue management through the customer portal.
- Proven experience in Integrated Product Support/ILS Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of radar, command & control, and communication systems.
- Familiarity with configuration management processes.
- Knowledge of international standards and specifications: MIL-STD-1388, ASD S-Series (S2000M, S3000L, S5000F), Logistic Support Databases (LSDB).
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and coordination skills, with ability to manage cross-functional inputs.
- Availability for short trips in Italy and abroad.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, SAP-based applications.
- Familiarity with PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter Unified) and customer portals.
