
Technical Support Expert - Labelling (W/M/D)

- Provide expert technical support for all Labellers and their mechanical trade equipment
- Secure ongoing operational follow-up across the full product scope
- Support the validation of modifications and product variants, both internally and externally, for new additions to the Labelling product portfolio
- Coordinate with other relevant teams to ensure smooth and aligned product updates
- Take ownership of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) following issue resolution
- Drive and support recovery plans and corrective actions, working in close interaction with other departments
- Secure troubleshooting on Labelling and associated trade equipment
- Support the availability of field methods for installation, qualification, technical analysis, repairing and maintenance activities.
- Execute Recovery and Corrective Actions on Labellers equipment issues, supporting the consequent plan of it.
- Secure the application of retrofits on the Labelling products installed base, where necessary.
- Participate to L3/L4 equipment FAT (workshop) & installation, start-up, validation, commissioning, and services (onsite).
- Support Regional Product Support during start-up and commissioning of L3/L4 Labeller equipment.
- Intervention on site in case of technical issues that require a specific recovery and corrective actions & troubleshooting.
- Improve personal competences on SSC, labeller, and trade associated equipment in addition to line equipment’s.
- Support in the workshop L4 prototype internal qualification (run-off, assembly, test)
- Support onsite for external qualification of product modifications and variants.
- Move in zones to reinforce expertise, analysis and communication within Q&TS teams.
- Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Technical professional qualification
- Language requirements: Fluency in English is a must-have, French and Spanish will be a plus; A good level of Italian an advantage for your best local integration.
- 5 years at least of technical assistance, field experience or engineering on Labellers products
- Experience in assembly and testing of complex machinery or field and service activities or technical assistance would be an advantage
- Rollfed knowledge is a must, Cold Glue, Adhesive/PSL and Hot Melt will be a plus
- Rigorous, dynamic, organized, proactive, ability to work autonomously
- Availability to travel up to 75%.
- SAP knowledge will be a plus.
- Knowledge of Sidel Labellers products (SSC / standalone) and process will be a plus
- Excellent reporting capability is a must
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attitude to problem solving (trouble shooting and RCA) and Customer oriented
- Good Interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate with different target groups (technicians, customers, etc.)
