So, everything we do at CNH Industrial is about reaching new heights as one team, always delivering for the good of our customers.Job PurposeThis position reports to the Chief Engineering of the product line and contribute to the architectural layout of the full vehicle, with focus on new programs and new concepts.Key Responsibilities

In accordance with Vehicle Architect, s/he drives Engineering in identifying the proper solutions through preliminary working concept identifications, leading the DFMEA and proposing the corrective actions to improve design robustness
S/He support the definition and verification of the Vehicle Architecture in accordance with the product requirements
Leverage the manufacturing-ability of Advance Manufacturing Engineering
Optimize the vehicle layout in accordance with performances, assembly-ability and service-ability criteria
Drives the concept studies of the Engineering Teams to converge in a fully integrated and working architecture
S/he is capable to lead towards the best technical solutions for problems in accordance with technical and manufacturing constraints and helps the team to identify the solution for best tradeoff between, cost, quality, time, and reliability

Experience Required

Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle/complex mechanical design through CAD (PTC Creo as preference), PLMs, and manufacturing processes to ensure design solutions are compatible with production tooling and methodologies
Mechanical Engineering degree with emphasis in automotive is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Overall deep knowledge of an agricultural tractor and its subsystems is a must
Soft Skill/Communication - Ability to negotiate within engineering the technical solution, facilitation of idea generation and selection. Capability to share positive/negative feedbacks about technical outcome and to lead towards the best solution.
Task Management skills together with management and motivation of resources assigned
Technical skills: at least of tractor vehicle systems, technical drawings, mechanical, manufacturing technologies, electrical and hydraulic systems
Familiar with DFMEA
Availability to travel up to 30% (both in Italy and abroad)
Fluent English is a must
Proactiveness and accountability
Ability to work in cross functional team environment
