Job Category: AccountingJob Description:We are seeking a qualified, engaged and motivated candidate that contributes to the Financial Reporting process for the Emerson Italy sites (Statutory Accounts under ITA GAAP) and Compliance with indirect Taxes.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Contributes to timely and accurate financial reporting:
  • Ensure preparation and filing of annual Italian statutory accounts with local authorities. Handles Journal Entries, Reconciliations of the accounts.
  • Interactions with Finance Shared Service on locally managed matters that have an impact on the monthly close of the US accounts (i.e. Tax).
  • Manage compliance of direct (IRES/IRAP) and Indirect Taxes (VAT, property tax, waste disposal, other taxes) and Withholding (770 withholding tax return).
  • Cooperate closely with Compliance function, Internal and External Auditors to ensure successful Audits.
Who You Are:An engaged and independent person with good communication skills, standout colleague & matured personality.For This Role, You Will Need:
  • At least 3 years experience in a Finance/ Accounting /Audit role in multinational contest;
  • Good knowledge ITA GAAP (US GAAP is a Plus) and Taxation;
  • Strong PC skills including Excel and SAP.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • University Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or Finance;

  • Oracle and Hyperion user knowledge is a plus
