As a People Services Generalist, you’ll play a critical role in delivering expert HR operational support across the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between. You’ll operate with autonomy and confidence, managing complex HR queries, ensuring data accuracy, coordinating payroll, and supporting compliance with both global standards and local legislation.You’ll also support global People programs, lead components of HR projects, and be a trusted contact for employee relations matters — including managing interactions with Works Councils and other representative bodies.Role and ResponsibilitiesThe role will cover areas such as: Employee Lifecycle Management, People Services Delivery & Operational HR Support, Payroll & Benefits Administration, Compliance, Employment Law & Employee Relations and Support for Global People Programs and Initiatives. Main responsibilities in this will include:Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and internal mobility.Draft and issue standard and bespoke HR documentation, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance.Act as the primary contact for HR queries, resolving complex issues independently.Ensure data integrity and drive efficiency using HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday).Oversee payroll processing with third-party providers, ensuring compliance with local regulations.Coordinate payroll audits, statutory reporting, and support financial planning through accurate cost estimations.Ensure HR operations adhere to local labour laws, GDPR, and company policies.Manage employee relations cases and support consultations with Works Councils and other representative bodies.Support or lead HR projects and contribute to global People initiatives, including performance, learning, and engagement programs.Manage recruitment processes in collaboration with hiring managers, RPO, and internal stakeholders.Represent HR in local leadership meetings, ensuring alignment with business and People strategies.Continuously improve HR processes and service delivery through innovation and best practices.What you’ll bringPrevious experience in experience in operational HR roles, ideally within complex or international organisationTrack record in managing employee lifecycle activities, payroll processes, and HR compliance independentlyWorking knowledge of GDPR and local labour laws, with practical application in HR operationsExposure to regional employment legislation and practices, with demonstrated ability to manage internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., payroll providers)Advanced proficiency in Excel and HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP, Workday), with strong capability in data reporting and analyticsExperience supporting or implementing People Function programs (e.g. performance, engagement, learning, talent processes)Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across functions and stakeholder groups in a matrixed environmentWhat we offer in returnOpportunities for learning & development through our varied programmeCollaborative, inclusive work environmentDiversity and inclusionBuilding an inclusive environment where people can thrive, grow and achieve their full potential is a priority.
