- Manage a local team of 4 people
- Be part of the Italian leadership team
- Evaluate the risks associated with the business model and ensure appropriate procedures to mitigate them are implemented balancing business needs.
- Assist the operations department in adapting the business model to local regulations.
- Take a strategic and medium/long term view of risk and compliance with commercial and antitrust regulations creating awareness on the best practices among Glovo employees
- Act on compliance initiatives related to Leg Decree 231/01, attend Supervisory Board Committee, back on track mitigation plans and support on internal audits with relevant stakeholders
- Escalate critical matters to senior management
- Get your hands dirty - when there is a problem, you will find a way to fix it
- At least 10/12 years of working experience as in-house legal counsel or in a reputed law firm
- Law Bachelor Degree, with a master in Business Law preferable
- Native Italian and excellent English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus (Spanish preferably)
- A 360º proven expertise / knowledge of corporate governance, commercial and antitrust, labour law and compliance
- Expertise in analysis and implementation of strategy balancing business needs
- Leadership and excellent people management skills. Proven ability to work and lead cross-functional teams in multinational context
- Proven experience working with the senior management
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, high impactful scope, results oriented, fast execution
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Hardworking, problem solver, organized, energetic, proactive.
- Tech or industry experience as a plus
