The activity of AWS domain: front desk reparations for civil and military operators, support on the ground and in flight, technical support for A/C developers, operators and maintenance centers.JOB OBJECTIVEThe Avionics Maintenance Manager at Thales Italia SpA - Avionics Business Domain (Italy) will assume the roles and responsibilities required by EASA Part 145 regulation as nominated person insuring On Time, On Conformity delivery of services and application of Maintenance Procedures.The Maintenance Manager will act as Certifying Staff EASA Part 145 CAT C (Rating C2/C3/C5/C6/C7/C8/C9/C13) releasing to service repaired avionics equipments.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Maintenance Manager will have for main missions to:- Insure Maintenance representation within Thales Safety Board and advise AM on Maintenance Business Management and Development- Manage Maintenance Technicians to ensure OTD / OCD of Services:Workload / Capacity Adequation and Recruitment of TechnicianWorkshop Planning and ressources allocation to Work OrderIn Coordination with the Accountable Manager (AM) propose and Execute training plan of Maintenance Technician developping polyvalence within the Team Evaluate and Validate compentencies of its Team and in coordination with the Compliance Monitoring Mgr Manage Certification of Maintenance Technicians Review, Improve and Insure operational understanding and application of Maintenance Procedures within Maintenance Team- Manage Technical Office :Insure availability and conformity of Maintenance tools,Insure availability and accuracy of Maintenance Data (DM, CMM, Procedures, AD/CN…)Insure availability and Conformity of Consummables / raw Material- Manage StockIn coordination with AM manage Ressources allocated to Store management In coordination with AM manage workload /capacity adequationReview, Improve and insure operational understanding and application of applicable procedures within storage Area (Control, identification, movement.. of Parts)- Act as Certifying Staff (EASA Part 145) and release to service maintained units in accordance with applicable Procedure and Regulations- Part take in Maintenance activities insuring reparations and Continuous Learning on currents and new products to be Maintained as part of Thales development strategySKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Electronical diploma (“perito level”)
  • CIT Cat C with ratings in accordance to Company LOA Experience: 10 years experience in the aeronautical Maintenance Domain with at least 2 years as Mainteance Manager under EASA 145 or EMAR 145 regulation
