Main responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer the Chief Financial Officer will be an integral part of a development project that, in addition to organic growth, will have growth by external lines as a guideline of the business plan.
  • The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for proactively structuring the functions of accounting and administration, finance and treasury, controlling and reporting and credit management by creating and continuously improving processes and procedures and managing a team of 40 people.
  • Through a proactive approach, the Chief Financial Officer will have to ensure the financial management of the company aimed at optimising cash flows, working capital, NFP and investment activities
  • He/she will coordinate and support extraordinary finance projects and M&A activities: evaluation, project structuring, relations with possible external advisors and Due Diligence activities.
  • The Chief Financial Officer will be an integral part of the Management / Board Team in decisions of a strategic nature and in the achievement of corporate objectives.
The Chief Financial Officer will also be responsible for the following activities:
  • Directing all the activities of the Administration and Accounting, Finance and Treasury, Controlling and Reporting and Credit Management departments.
  • Contribute to the definition of company strategies in line with the vision of the Board and Management, with particular attention to economic-financial sustainability
  • Maintain and develop relations with financial and credit institutions for structured finance activities, in order to support the Group's investment plans, together with the strategic and operational management of Treasury
  • Guaranteeing the Board and Management the periodic monitoring of the economic-financial results of operations, ensuring the preparation of adequate KPIs, also through the analysis and representation of variances
  • Ensure the preparation of draft financial statements and group economic, equity and financial reporting
  • Drawing up the annual Budget, including any revisions and all planning activities, aimed at the formulation of the Business Plan, with particular attention to tariff and economic-financial aspects
  • Coordinate and support M&A projects: evaluation, project structuring, relations with possible external advisors;
  • Modelling company and Group processes, defining company policies with regard to economic-financial, administrative, fiscal, management control and credit monitoring aspects
  • Ensuring the verification and optimisation of the performance of ERP information systems and Business Intelligence systems
  • Oversee the correctness and timeliness of accounting, tax and corporate compliance in accordance with applicable regulations and tariffs
  • Ensure the necessary balance between Compliance and Performance;

  • Previous experience in the role of CFO gained within structured and modernly organised companies
  • In-depth knowledge of the techniques and methodologies used in the areas of responsibility
  • Proven leadership skills and authority
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all company levels
  • Strong orientation towards working by objectives and problem solving
  • High analytical skills combined with a proactive and flexible approach

  • Fluent knowledge of the English language
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
