Ask what Flex@Allegro can mean for you.We are seeking a Junior Electronic Laboratory Technician to join our growing team in Assago (MI) for a 6 months internship. The Milan Design Center is one of our global Centers of excellence for Power and Gate Driver product R&D focused primarily on Design and System Engineering.RESPONSIBILITIESDuring the 6 months internship with us you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Laboratory Manager and understand the product development life cycle of an advanced Integrated Circuit.Cooperate with the Laboratory Manager to ensure the daily activities of the Lab: manage the desk booking, equipment shipment, general Lab logistics, archive documents.Support the Laboratory Manager in maintaining and calibrating testing equipment regularly to ensure accurate and reliable results.Identify and address equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.Update tracking tools and maintain inventory.Assembly PCB board, if needed.Prepares and solders electronic components onto Printed Circuit Boards (PCB’s) according to specifications, if needed.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:The successful candidate will have obtained a qualification as an electronics or microelectronics technician (degree, diploma di Perito Elettronico) or a BS degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent education.Basic principles of electronics (e.g. voltage, current, resistance, Ohm’s Law); knowledge of basic electronic components (e.g. capacitors, inductors, resistors), and knowledge of the operation and application of common electrical components and common measurement instruments (e.g. multimeters, oscilloscopes)Basic knowledge of component datasheets and specifications.Ability to interpret and modify circuit board schematics and layouts.Good verbal and written communication skills in EnglishThe ability to work as part of a world-wide development team with diverse engineering disciplines
