With 22 beloved brands in our portfolio, we are world leader for pasta, the number one choice for ready-made sauces in Europe, leader for bakery products in Italy, and for crispbread across Scandinavia with Wasa.Our success story is written by a passionate team of almost 9,000 dedicated employees across 30 plants and offices worldwide, all united by a shared mission to nourish the future with purpose and passion.Are you ready to add your unique flavor to our journey?Job descriptionWe are looking for a Fiscal Fulfillment Associate Manager, within the Administrative Shared Service Center team, based in Parma.Job PurposeThe Fiscal Fulfillment Associate Manager guarantees for all European Legal Entities and the Fiscal Representatives belonging to ASSC the compliance to fiscal regulations by translating fiscal guidelines in operative processes and leading their implementation, defining procedures at local and central level in line with policies and golden rules defined by the Tax Europe Department.S/he ensures the compliance of Indirect Tax Declarations (e.g. VAT, Intrastat), and Local Tax declarations (e.g. Property Tax, Honoraires Declaration), Direct Tax Declarations (e.g. CIT) and Environmental Contributions (e.g.: Conai, Green Dot, Plastic Tax, Single Use Plastic products: SUP)Additionally, he/she guarantees the application of Tax Control Framework guidelines, procedures and controls to the processes in scope ensuring their application even in case of processes changes to maintain live and effective Tax Principles.Key AccountabilitiesThe Fiscal Fulfillment Associate Manager is responsible to:
  • Translate fiscal guidelines in operative processes and monitor the timely and quality preparation of the data for Indirect, Local, Direct Taxes calculation, Environmental Contributions (e.g. VAT, Intrastat, CIT, Conai, Green Dot, Plastic Tax, etc…) for all the European Legal Entities and all the Fiscal Representatives belonging to ASSC, in line with policies and golden rules defined by the Tax Department
  • Grant and ensure a timely and a reliable Indirect, Local, Direct Taxes and Environmental Contributions calculations (e.g. VAT, Intrastat, CIT, Conai, Green Dot, Plastic Tax, etc…) and other declarations according to agreed SLA/OLA, shared with the Barilla Tax Provider and Tax Department
  • Guarantee a high-level and updated knowledge in terms of Indirect, Local, Direct Taxes regulations, Environmental Contributions and Company Procedures, managing the clarification of fiscal issues and the implementation of what it is necessary for the compliance to new fiscal regulations
  • Assure the Fiscal Fulfillments procedures, granting that all is accomplished according to the mandatory deadlines, developing and updating existing work routines and processes, including updating desktop procedures
  • Timely provide all the necessary documentation to support internal or external audit respecting very demanding deadlines and ensuring compliance with the local regulations
  • Support Tax Department in the preparation and management of external tax audit by Local Authorities, assuring also the connection between local organization and process units
  • Assess and define, with Information Technology Department, the update of the accounting system and/or operative processes within specific deadlines according to new fiscal regulations
  • Guarantee the application of Tax Control Framework guidelines, procedures and controls to the processes in scope ensuring their application even in case of processes changes to maintain live and effective Tax Principles.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (Economics, Business, Administration)
  • +4/5 years in Administration or Tax area
  • English Mandatory
  • Good knowledge of SAP
  • Results orientated and problem-solving attitude
  • Analytical skills
  • Team player
  • Very good communication skills, with all levels of the organization
  • Experience in dealing with internal/external stakeholders
  • Attitude and ability to work in a challenging environment, with a high level of expectations on service level.
