He/she is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all testing activities to ensure software quality.What you will do:Planning and Strategy: Develop a comprehensive test plan and strategy for the project. This involves understanding the project requirements, defining the testing scope, and determining the appropriate methodologies and techniques.Team Management: Assign tasks, coordinate resources, and monitor team’s progress. Ensure all team members are well-trained and equipped to perform their testing activities efficiently. Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment to enhance productivity and morale.Test Execution: Oversee the execution of test cases in coordination with software developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders. Prioritize and schedule testing activities to ensure all deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards. Monitor results and provide timely feedback to the team.Defect Management: Lead the defect management process—document, track, and resolve bugs discovered during testing. Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure timely issue resolution.Communication and Reporting: Ensure clear communication between the testing team, project stakeholders, and other involved departments. Provide regular updates on progress, highlight risks or issues, and keep all stakeholders informed on testing status.Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the testing team. Encourage learning, the adoption of best practices, and staying updated with the latest testing methodologies and technologies.Key Requirements:
  • A degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical, Telecommunications, or Automation Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Test Lead, or 4 years of experience as a Software Tester or in debugging/development roles within structured companies.
  • Programming skills: Familiarity with languages such as Java, Python, or C# to understand code and create automated test scripts.
  • Database knowledge: Ability to query SQL and NoSQL databases to verify data integrity during tests.
  • Testing tools: Experience with tools such as Ranorex (preferred), Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Appium, TestRail, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Development methodologies: Understanding of Agile and DevOps frameworks to integrate effectively into modern development environments. Knowledge of Scrum is a plus, especially for integrating testing into CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) processes to contribute to code quality in real time.
  • Operating systems: Familiarity with Microsoft, Linux, and RTOS operating systems. Knowledge of industrial automation programming languages such as SCADA and PLC is a plus.
  • Additional skills in scripting, version control (Git), and virtualization environments are highly valued.
  • ISTQB certification is a plus.
