- Conduct KYC and KYB due diligence on onboarding requests, ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulatory frameworks, by contacting clients and reviewing their requests.
- Perform risk-based controls and screening, identifying potential red flags through internal tools and external databases.
- Collaborate in the four-eyes review process, ensuring a robust control environment through peer validation and escalation when needed.
- Engage with external providers, maintaining productive relationships and ensuring the quality and timeliness their service.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, helping optimize workflows, reduce friction for potential clients, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Help to shape the onboarding team as we grow and new colleagues join us.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in KYB/KYC, compliance operations, or a similar role in fintech, banking, or a regulated environment.
- You are comfortable with hands-on operational work, and eager to dive into day-to-day verifications, screenings, and controls.
- You possess a strong sense of customer relations, with empathy, and are are comfortable doing phone calls ;
- You are rigorous, detail-oriented, and methodical, with strong organizational skills and a mindset geared toward accuracy and reliability.
- You are curious and proactive, with a desire to improve processes and eventually take on more coordination and oversight responsibilities.
- You are passionate about innovation and/or fintech.
- You are Italian native or bilingual, and fluent in English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
- Mastery of Hubspot and Google Sheets would be a big plus.
