With its products, the company contributes to reducing emissions, protecting the climate as well as enhancing safe mobility.Job summaryWe are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled AI Engineering Intern to become part of our AI Lab team in Monterrey. This position offers the opportunity to dive into the cutting-edge field of artificial intelligence, working on real-world projects that make a tangible impact. The intern will engage in a broad range of activities including researching, analyzing, designing innovative AI solutions, as well as developing and fine-tuning machine learning models. This role is perfect for a final-year university student who is deeply passionate about NLP, Python, machine learning, and data analysis, and who is eager to apply their knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative environment.Job responsabilities
  • Research and Analysis: Perform in-depth research on cutting-edge AI technologies and methodologies to solve specific challenges in projects.
Solution Design: Work collaboratively to design innovative AI solutions that align with project goals and specifications. * Development: Code and implement solutions to solve ZF´s real-world challenges.Machine Learning Models: Take charge of training, testing, and fine-tuning machine learning models for optimum performance. * NLP Projects: Engage in natural language processing projects, utilizing your knowledge to process and analyze complex data sets.
  • Data Analysis and Feature Engineering: Extract key insights from data and engineer features to improve model accuracy and performance.
  • Dataset Generation: Create and preprocess datasets to train machine learning models, ensuring they are robust and representative.
  • Collaboration: Actively collaborate with team members to deliver superior AI solutions.
Job requierments
  • Education: Currently in the final year of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field, with a significant AI component.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Python with experience in AI-related libraries (e.g., Pandas, Polars, PyTorch, Keras, etc.). Knowledge of NLP, machine learning models, dataset generation, and feature engineering is essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
  • Research Ability: Proven capability to conduct comprehensive research and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in AI.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the capacity to effectively articulate complex ideas clearly and work in a team setting.
  • Adaptability: Quick to adapt to new technologies and overcome challenges in a dynamic environment.
  • Passion for AI: A genuine enthusiasm for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and technological innovation.
