- Deal Sourcing and Underwriting: Assist the Country Manager in identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities in the student housing market. Conduct thorough market research, feasibility studies, and financial analyses to support investment decisions.
- Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain detailed Excel cashflow models to assess the financial viability of potential investments. Perform sensitivity analyses, scenario planning, and risk assessments to inform investment strategies.
- Transaction Execution: Support the execution of investment transactions, including due diligence, preparation of investment memoranda, and coordination with legal, financial, and operational teams. Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Market Analysis: Monitor and analyse market trends, demographic data, and competitive landscape in the student housing sector. Provide insights and recommendations to the Country Manager and central investment team to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the central investment and development team in Madrid to ensure alignment on investment strategies and objectives. Prepare and present reports, financial models, and investment proposals to senior management.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including real estate brokers, developers, investors, and local authorities. Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and industry events.
- Proficient in Excel cashflow modelling and financial analysis.
