Italy is a dynamic and growing market and is looking for a native Italian speaker Finance & Accounting Specialist, to join our local Finance team and support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and dynamic finance professional with a structured background in accounting and a strong interest in analysis and reporting. You will contribute to core accounting tasks, support financial processes, and assist in delivering ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Lead accounting operations, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reviews.
  • Ensure accurate financial data entry and reporting.
  • Liaise with internal departments to gather relevant financial information and ensure completeness of records.
  • Oversee the processing and reconciliation of payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
  • Maintain and update cash flow reports and assist in cash forecasting.
  • Help the Finance Manager to prepare financial forecasts, variance analysis, and monthly reporting packages in coordination with the FP&A team.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements within finance operations.
  • Lead the audit process, including preparing audit documentation and schedules.
Qualifiche
  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Solid knowledge of local accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Datev Koinos and Workday systems.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
  • High attention to details, strong analytical thinking and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional and international environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with cash flow management & reporting is a plus.
