- Design of tools and jigs for quality and cost efficiency.
- Implement best practices and methodologies to streamline production processes.
- Develop standardized procedures and guidelines for manufacturing processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Use lean manufacturing techniques to eliminate waste and improve process flow.
- Calculate target costs for modules and equipment, considering material and labor activities.
- Establish a comprehensive framework for cost estimation, adapting to market conditions.
- Be part of a cross-functional team to ensure accurate cost estimation and monitoring of equipment.
- Implement proactive cost planning and reduction practices.
- Support make or buy strategy definition, analyzing cost-effectiveness, quality, and capacity.
- Leverage automation and software tools for enhanced cost monitoring and decision-making.
- Participate in product development programs, supporting project tollgates and design for manufacturing.
- Lead cost optimization planning and participate in risk assessments and failure mode analyses.
- Define and validate assembling and testing procedures with a focus on quality and safety.
- Develop digital procedures and implement new technologies (AI, Cobots, AR) to improve production processes.
- Lead the implementation of automation tools to enhance manufacturing efficiency and ergonomics operations.
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma best practices to analyze data and reduce production variability.
- Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and production teams to drive initiatives that enhance product quality and cost efficiency.
- Implement value engineering to optimize product functions while minimizing costs.
- Engage in continuous improvement activities, applying Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- World Class program participation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Industrial engineering knowdlege, with a focus on process optimization and cost management.
- Fluency both in italian and english.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Knowdlege of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with AI, Cobots, and AR technologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and leverage diverse perspectives.
