You will be responsible for developing and managing the quality management system for the assigned project in accordance with the corporate quality management system and contractual requirements.You will be responsible for managing quality-related project activities within the schedule and budget of hours and for suggesting improvements to the company's quality system by working closely with the project team.Tasks and Duties
  • Develop the project quality management system in accordance with the company system and contractual requirements
  • Identify and implement any necessary project quality management tools at the company management system level such as, for example, specific management plans, forms for periodic follow-ups, etc.
  • Prepare and present project quality related deliverables in EPC contracts and site managed civil works including ITP, Quality Plan for major equipment and third party inspection
  • Prepare and present audit schedule to the client in agreement with the project manager
  • Interfacing with customers and third parties as the project manager's representative for all quality-related topics
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the project quality plan by means of planning execution and follow-up of project audits
  • Manage the execution of audits towards vendors, in collaboration with the quality assurance and control team, and project subcontractors when required
  • Co-ordinate and act as contact point for any inspectors involved in audits and inspections at suppliers and/or construction sites
  • Ensuring the adoption and completion of any corrective actions
  • Ensure that project staff are fully aware of the project quality system and monitor its effective adoption
  • Managing quality-related project activities within the schedule and budget of hours
  • Collect the performance of key quality indicators required for project monitoring
  • Collect evaluation elements of the functioning of the project management system and set up and promote with the PM and the project team actions for improvement
RequirementsTechnical Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in project quality management (EPC Renewable, oil and gas field or construction sector preferred);
  • Previous management of worldwide EPC contract is preferred, especially in UK, Australia and US;
  • Practical knowledge of the fundamentals and methods of quality management;
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards (lead-auditor certification is ideal, internal audit);
  • Global mindset with experience working in an international/multi-cultural matrix environment;
  • Engineering master's degree preferred;
  • Ability to work with all levels of management;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to understand context overall picture;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Good initiative and proactivity;
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (knowledge of other languages would be a plus);
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Other informationLocation: Hybrid remote (from Italy) and HQ in Milan, Piazzale Lodi / Cosio Valtellino. Availability to travel is required.What we offer
