- Lead and manage customer service audit programs to enable Service Parts to meet or exceed budget.
- Have clear understanding of all R.A Jones customer service products and service and be able to convince customers of the value and quality so they purchase R.A Jones products.
- Contact, qualify, and close new audit opportunities and rigorously prospect for new business while following up on leads.
- Define targeted campaigns to generate and manage new audit opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product Line Manager to identify targeted customers and develop specific campaigns for the identified customers.
- Develop a solid understanding of the customer service market based on customer needs and requirements generated from extensive customer communication and networking.
- Prospect and generate leads.
- Develop, maintain, and expand the customer data base.
- Maintain existing customer relationship through active engagement and follow-up.
- Work closely with other sales representatives, customer service, and management to facilitate world-class customer service.
- Responsible for all audit program deliverables along with status reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associates Degree or equivalent combined experience with an emphasis on technical knowledge.
- Technical background preferred.
- Knowledge of packaging equipment or related industry.
- Strong customer service, leadership, and sales support skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to demonstrate active listening, organized presentation, and effective writing skills. Persuasive in interactions with others.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook,) and experience with ERP system, SAP preferred.
- Understanding of commercial terms and ability to negotiate and resolve commercial issues with customers.
- Ability to present and communicate Customer Service products, services, and offerings with technical confidence.
- Ability to work and contribute as a member of a team.
- Ability to develop credibility with customers, reviewing equipment, and advising customers in their environment.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully exceed aggressive sales development targets and strategies.
- Able to travel domestically and internationally.
- Willingness to travel 25%
