  • Use/Train AI models (such as ChatGPT and Gemini) to detect and correct functional safety faults in automotive software.
  • Learn about ISO 26262, the leading standard for ensuring safety of automotive systems.
  • Work together with experienced software developers, that will mentor and guide you in your journey.
  • Have the opportunity for potential full-time employment upon successful completion of the internship.
QualificationsKey qualifications
  • Enrolled in the final year of a university master's degree program, preferably in Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with C and Python software development.
  • Strong interest in Generative AI and how it can augment traditional software development.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good English B2/C1 and Italian B2/C1 communications skills.
Preferred qualifications
  • Familiarity with popular GenAI APIs for ChatGPT or Gemini (showing a live demo of what you already developed would be a plus!).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems, such as Jenkins.
Additional InformationA 6 month curricular internship is planned, aimed at supporting the thesis project.Internships foresee reimbursement at Bosch Italia.
