.Scope and purposeThe candidate will run his/her own risk-taking strategies in his/her individual book, where targets will be defined in terms of absolute result and maximum drawdown, after having agreed with Management a precise risk framework. At the same time he/she will be taking part in the investment decision making of the Desk, where risks and investments time frames are larger and longer than individual books.Experience requiredAt a minimum 4 years of autonomous risk-taking with clear track record.Skills and competences required
  • Bacnhelor Degree in Financial Disciplines, Master a plus
  • Alternatively in Engineering,Physics, Math, IT
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • The candidate should be a leader in developing new trading and hedging strategies and working on different projects, while being an excellent team player within Desk
  • He/She should possess strong ability to work under pressure and deliver results smoothly and on time
  • Programming skills a plus (VBA, Matlab, Python)
  • The candidate should possess an excellent track record in Equity trading in a professional financial institution (banks, HFs, asset managers, etc), delivering consistent returns over a medium time horizon
  • He/she should have an excellent top-down approach for EU, US or Asian markets, allowing the development of profitable trading strategies with above average Sharpe ratios. The top-down approach should be complemented by strong analytical capabilities at single stock level
  • He/she will run an individual trading book and participate fully in the research and the implementation of the desk trading strategies
