Reporting directly to the Quality Senior Director ITS EMEA, the Plant Quality Manager will be responsible for leading and develop the local quality team containing Supplier Quality, Operations Quality, Customer Quality and Quality Management System.We offer:Working for one of our brands and being part of the KION Group means working in a culture that is shaped by the shared values of the KION Group: integrity, collaboration, courage, and excellence.Your benefits:Exciting future perspectives: wide range of personnel development measures with diverse career opportunitiesAttractive compensation package: competitive compensation and benefits of a multinational company (according to local regulations)Having a real impact: working in a dynamic environment with a high degree of freedom to shape your role and make a real impact by actively shaping world trade by keeping the world movingWork-Life-Balance: Having the opportunity of flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from homeGlobal OpportunitiesFree psychological support serviceFree access to over 18000 learning resources via Linkedin LearningTasks and Qualifications:Key Responsibilities:Leading and develop the local quality team containing Supplier Quality, Operations Quality, Customer Quality and Quality Management System.Ensuring the quality of the factory products regarding market requirements as well as legal requirements, in particular CE conformityFurther development and, if necessary, introduction of standardized processes at production level and implementation of the KION Quality guidelinesImplementation of best-practice standards and future quality assurance measures regarding internal production processes, auditing of line processes as well as product and component auditing, quality gate planning and employee training, shop floor support and implementation and execution of operational supplier managementEvaluate the external quality of the plant (products) at customers, organize and lead measures for its consistent improvement (Customer Quality)Acting as the CTO Onsite representativeclearly defined contact person for main local stakeholders like local management and local internal interface partnersParticipation in local management meetings and initiativesQuality representation in local decision, Steering Committees and work groupsSupports external audits of plant (ISO 9001, environmental audits, etc.)Provides/ coordinates/ initiates solution within CTO Organization along the established CTO processes and responsibilities, e.g. quality issues/ supply issuesRequired Skills and Qualifications:Successful completion of a degree in engineering scienceAt least 15 years of experience regarding production processes and their quality requirementsAt least 10 years of experience in the automotive industry or at a sub supplierPreferably international working experience in different countriesLeadership experience, preferably in a multi department Quality organizationsExperience regarding shop floor quality requirementsStrong knowledge in quality methods (PPAP, FMEA, APQP, 8D, Control plan, root cause analysis)Preferably knowledge of process design, Six Sigma and LeanStrong communication skills, assertiveness, great negotiation skillsProven development of team members and execution of skill development systemsSoftware skills in the common software packages of Microsoft Office, SAP, PowerBI are mandatoryFluent in Italian and EnglishWillingness to travelIf this challenging task appeals to you, we look forward to receiving your application.
