  • Manage daily accounting activities such as journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
  • Oversee the complete accounts payable cycle, from purchase order processing through payment execution
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations on international transactions by processing and verifying customs documentation according to Italian and other relevant countries' laws
  • Collaborate with internal teams to secure timely approvals, ensure accurate expense coding, and validate employee travel expense reports
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes to meet reporting deadlines
  • Maintain well-organized financial records aligned with internal policies and local regulatory requirements
  • Assist with VAT reporting and ensure adherence to compliance mandates
  • Prepare data for periodic CONAI declarations and manage periodic Intrastat declarations
  • Support annual audits by preparing documentation and ensuring robust internal controls
  • Partner with the broader finance team to continuously improve process efficiency and accuracy
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience within a manufacturing or operational environment
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable workflows
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of VAT regulations and Italian financial compliance requirements
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical abilities, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Fluent in Italian with a working proficiency in English (mandatory)
