Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
  • Lead and mentor teams – Manage and support a team of engineers, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and technical excellence.
  • Drive technical innovation – Guide the development of scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions, ensuring best engineering practices.
  • Enable cross-functional collaboration – Partner with product managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects align with business needs and technical requirements.
  • Ensure high performance – Oversee daily team performance, conduct regular one-on-ones, and provide constructive feedback to help engineers reach their full potential.
  • Contribute to system architecture – Participate in technical decisions that shape the evolution of our payment platform, ensuring robustness and scalability.

  • Technical expertise – Solid experience in software engineering, with a focus on scalable architectures, microservices, and cloud-based environments (AWS preferred).
  • Leadership experience – Proven track record of managing cross-functional engineering teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Strong communication skills – Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders across different levels.
  • Mentorship mindset – Passion for guiding engineers, sharing knowledge, and supporting career development.
  • Problem-solving approach – Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate complexity, ensuring efficient and impactful solutions.
