- Event Activation
- Plan and execute local and regional events (bike festivals, ski tests, grassroots meetups).
- Represent Smith at trade and consumer events to grow brand awareness and loyalty.
- Manage event logistics and ensure consistent, high-quality brand representation.
- Community Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with athletes, ambassadors, and local outdoor communities.
- Support grassroots programs and product seeding to drive trial and advocacy.
- Activate partnerships with bike parks, ski resorts, and community hubs.
- Retail Marketing
- Work with sales reps to support key retail partners.
- Coordinate in-store activations, POS displays, and local marketing campaigns.
- Track in-store execution, merchandising, and brand visibility.
- Content & Social Media
- Capture local content at events and retail visits.
- Highlight athletes, communities, and authentic brand moments.
- Feed ideas and assets to the social media team to amplify local stories.
- Regional Focus & Travel
- Own the field marketing calendar across Central Alps (Germany, Austria, Italy, France).
- Travel frequently (up to 70%) to support events and activations.
- 1–3 years’ experience in field marketing, events, or community engagement—ideally in outdoor/sporting goods.
- A genuine passion for bike and snow sports, with real-world experience in those communities.
- Comfortable working independently, on the road, and coordinating multiple projects at once.
- Strong communicator and relationship builder.
- Fluent in English; German, French, or Italian a big plus.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Canva, and project tools.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within the region.
