The head office is in Pescara; the production plants in Italy are in Pescara and Campochiaro (CB), abroad they are in Portugal, in Porto and in Turkey in Gebze.PositionThe Packaging Development Researcher supports the R&D team in scoping and analyzing flexible materials that would show stable properties in contact with alkaline hypochlorite-based products for new pack applications.The main responsibilities will be Design & Development of packages for laundry & cleaning products.The main tasks will be:
  • Development of new packaging items matching the required quality standards
  • Application of the approved research methods for prototypes and finished goods/packaging evaluation.
  • Editing of the laboratory book. Study and calibration of new research devices and techniques aimed to evaluate and prove the quality of products and/or packaging items.
  • Statistical analysis of numerical results obtained from the tests made on the products and/or packaging items. Graphic and tabular representation of the results. Issuing of reports in the standard format.
  • Direct contact with the material suppliers with the scope to study and optimize the packaging items and define the work leading times.
  • Control and approve (for the own area of responsibility) draft printed artworks.
  • Execute technical trials to evaluate the packaging quality vs both the consumer's and the customers' needs and judgment.
  • Plan, execute and validate technical trials at the production plants, in close cooperation with the operations department and the factory team dedicated to the product's quality controls.
  • Check the packaging quality on the production lines during the innovation and experimental phase of the pack and/or product items.
Requirements
  • Technical high school diploma
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering is a plus
  • Ability to listen and work in a team
  • Willingness to get involved
