- Building and expanding executive-level relationships within large industrial companies, with a strong focus on metalworking
- Leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales projects from discovery to deployment and post-sale value realization
- Orchestrating 3M resources (Applications Engineers, Technical Specialists, Marketing, and Sales Agents) to design high-impact solutions for strategic end customers
- Partnering with authorized 3M Abrasives distributors to create joint account plans and deliver sustainable growth
- Developing new business with industrial automation and robotics OEMs/integrators to accelerate adoption of advanced abrasive solutions
- Working closely with the 3M Abrasives Division team to translate customer needs into technical applications and quantifiable outcomes (quality, throughput, cost, safety)
- Strong project-management capabilities: ability to scope, plan, execute, and track results
- Proven experience with complex/consultative B2B sales: skilled at engaging decision-makers, coordinating all project phases (including technical trials and procurement), and maintaining long-term, value-based relationships after the sale
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with stakeholders at both end customers and distributors
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Previous sales experience
- Good knowledge of the English language (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of abrasive applications, welding processes, and industrial robotics/automation (preferred)
- Proficiency with productivity and CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, CRM platforms)
- Confident public speaking and executive presentation skills
- Primary activity in Northern Italy, with short trips to Central and Southern Italy.
- Ideal candidate location is Northern Italy, preferably near 3M Italy HQ in Pioltello
- Travel: up to 70% within territory. Occasional participation in international meetings in Europe
