We are looking for an Inside Sales Specialist to join our dynamic Prysmian Italy Inside Sales team based in Milano. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of internal sales, placement of orders, complaints, concerns, and requests for literature. The resource will be also responsible of analyzing individual solutions and ensures customer needs are met as well as providing follow-up and initiates correspondence. Moreover, he/she will process customer orders, will update and maintain customer databases and record keeping systems for individual accounts. The resource will be reporting to the Inside Sales Manager and will closely work with Sales team.Major responsibilities:
  • Take care of satisfaction of the customers needs, solving issues and providing information and support to any matter that may arise;
  • Using SAP, confirms delivery schedule & shipping details with customers ensuring best possible service;
  • Acts as the pivot point of contact between the customer and the manufacturing;
  • Processes intercompany and transfer orders;
  • Monitor’s progress of material manufacture to ensure delivery date is met;
  • Manage all the shipping activities including paperwork and also related to customs;
  • Follows the invoicing and payment processes;
  • Support in preparation of offers (prices, contribution margins, terms and conditions).
Technical and soft skills:
  • Completion of a high school diploma;
  • 2 years experience in a sales environment processing customer orders or data-entry experience;
  • Working knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP) will be considered a plus;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel and Word);
  • Ability to write and communicate verbally in a professional business manner in Italian and English; Fluency in other languages will be considered as a plus;
