Feel the Olympic and Paralympic energy joining us at Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, leaving a mark in the sport history!BREAK THE ICE!Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.We are driven by the following values: respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability.Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.The person in charge will be required to support the Maps & Plans Designer to produce all graphical outputs needed for the operational planning and implementation of the Olympic transportation plan.In particular, he/she will be:
  • will assist the Maps & Plans Designer to manage relationships with all TRA functional units, as well as other units like VDO (Venue Design & Overlay);
  • will assist the Maps & Plans Designer to manage relations with members of the transportation team, but possible comparisons with engineers from the Public Territorial Entities regarding the design of some publicly owned sites (stations, etc.) may be necessary;
  • Use of Illustrator program to adjust and update concept diagrams of the Olympic transportation plan, representative diagrams of planned transportation services for stakeholders and spectators, diagrams of organization of competition and non-competition sites (venues), etc;
  • Use of the Vectorworks to make maps of the different clusters, geolocate the operational areas of the Olympic transportation system and the official accommodations of the Games in order to better plan transportation services for stakeholders as well as design technical drawings of all transportation hubs of the Games (parking or loading/unloading areas at venues, remote interchange parking, train stations, depots, etc.);
  • Use of AutoCAD and ArchGIS to assess existing data to include in the graphic output.
  • Experience in the fields of Engineering, Architecture or Graphic Design.
  • English Level B2;
  • 3 years of work experience in transportation operations planning in sporting events of international interest is optimal. If not, at least prior experience in transportation systems planning/urbanism in the area of local public transportation is required;
  • Excellent knowledge of Illustrator and a CAD-software (Vectorworks or AutoCAD);
  • Good knowledge of GIS software and Office package;
  • Experience with the design of infographics are a plus;
  • Knowledge of design and technical criteria of transportation hubs in terms of parking areas, loading/unloading areas, pedestrian flows, etc. using urban mobility planning criteria;
  • Ability to work with urgency and under pressure to adapt diagrams and technical drawings;
  • Ability to organize work and autonomy in developing assigned tasks;
  • Independent approach to graphic interpretation of technical information
