
Senior Mechatronic Engineer

- Ensure the execution of design activities with best engineering practices;
- Technical specs, structural and mechanical stress analysis calculation (including the by formula approach), modelling and drawings, purchase technical specification, technical evaluation of the Supplier's offers, technical follow-up of the supplies;
- Follow up the manufacturing, the FAT, the on-site installation and testing activities of the mentioned machines;
- Coordinate mono-disciplinary working groups;
- Identify and manage the internal & external interfaces (stakeholders within the project delivery framework).
- Master or equivalent Degree in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Nuclear Engineering or equivalent;
- 5 years' experience in mechanical components design (preferably in a highly regulated industrial sector).
- Mechanical Design of bespoke complex machines, including aspects related to manufacturing and assembly, welding and non-destructive testing;
- Design/integration of EC&I on-board systems/components;
- 3D modelling (CREO / CATIA V5) and BIM methodology integration;
- Relevant construction/manufacturing norms and standard (e.g., ASME, RCC-M and/or EURO codes, etc.);
- Finite Element Modelling software (e.g., ANSYS or similar struct. analysis SW) and Multiphysics SW.
- Nuclear specific codes and standard for safety application, environmental and/or seismic qualification (e.g., ASME, RCC-M, KTA, IEEE, IEC);
- Relevant EU Directives (e.g., Machinery);
- Experience in site works.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment;
- Capability to take initiative, with a proactive attitude and personal drive;
- Ability to manage relationships: customer/supplier, between partners (in national or international JVs);
- Good knowledge of English language (spoken and written, fluent);
- No preclusion to trip's time, duration and destination.
