The role contributes to plant productivity, safety, and cost control by minimizing downtime and optimizing maintenance processes.You will be in charge of
- Define and implement the plant maintenance strategy in alignment with company objectives, ensuring the optimal balance between preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Ensure high levels of equipment reliability and availability by reducing breakdowns and unplanned downtime through structured maintenance planning and root cause analysis.
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance plans, ensuring systematic monitoring of machines, tools, and plant infrastructure.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize impact on production while ensuring timely interventions and efficient resource allocation.
- Lead, train, and develop the maintenance team, promoting technical competence, accountability, and a proactive maintenance culture.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), root cause analysis, and reliability improvement programs.
- Manage maintenance budgets and spare parts inventory, ensuring cost optimization and availability of critical components.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company procedures.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to support operational performance and continuous improvement projects.
- Support the technical evaluation, installation, and commissioning of new machines and production equipment.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, Industrial engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems used in industrial production equipment.
- Experience with preventive maintenance systems, TPM principles, and reliability engineering practices.
- Proven ability to lead and develop maintenance teams and coordinate cross-functional activities.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with root cause analysis methodologies (5 Why, Ishikawa, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, plan maintenance activities, and coordinate resources effectively.
- Effective communication skills to interact with production teams, suppliers, and management.
- Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance management software.
- Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and support continuous operational improvements
