- Supports the definition, development, and specification of FF&E items for guest and crew areas, working in close collaboration with designers, consultants, and suppliers.
- Checks and evaluates FF&E mock-ups and product samples for design compliance, material quality, functionality, and durability.
- Prepares detailed FF&E specifications and documentation, including finishes, dimensions, installation notes, and manufacturer data.
- Establishes and maintains a coded archive of all FF&E items used across the Newbuild fleet, ensuring accurate records for procurement, maintenance, and future reference.
- Manages and updates FF&E schedules, sample boards, and material libraries.
- Participates in factory visits and onboard inspections to verify product execution and resolve issues during the outfitting process.
- Coordinates with Procurement, Technical, and Outfitting teams to align on logistics, delivery schedules, and installation standards.
- Ensures product choices align with cost, lead time, sustainability, and safety requirements.
- Supports internal design reviews and presentations, clearly communicating the intent and technical details of proposed FF&E items.
- Performs other job-related duties as required to support the successful delivery of interior design packages across all Newbuild projects.
- Ensures final placement of all FF&E items complies with approved layout plans and colour configurations during vessel delivery.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Interior Design, Product Design, Architecture, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in FF&E design, specification, and coordination-ideally in cruise (familiar with IMO MED certifications and requirements), hospitality, or high-end residential projects
- Experience in the construction and technical development of FF&E items is a strong plus
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Rhino, Revit, or SketchUp is a plus
- Good understanding of furniture manufacturing, materials, and marine-grade standards
- Ability to review and interpret technical drawings, product datasheets, and supplier specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and archiving
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within international, multidisciplinary teams
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Availability to travel for mock-up reviews, factory visits, and onboard inspections during the delivery of the ship
- The existing right to live and work in EU
- Fluency in English (Written and Spoken)
