- In charge of monthly payroll processing (multiple countries such as CH, EMEA and USA) in collaboration with the payroll service provider.
- Review and confirm the accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions and deductions provided by the payroll service provider.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns and statutory reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor and tax regulations.
- Coordinate with HR regarding employee changes (new hires, terminations, benefits, salary adjustments).
- Prepare payroll-related journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Generate payroll reports for management and finance teams.
- Manage payroll system updates and improvements.
- Point of contact for employee T&E reimbursement and company’s travel bookings.
- Manage the employee travel booking platform.
- Assist with payroll and other finance related projects.
- Implementation of new payroll processes and platforms.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll/HR or accounting roles.
Language: Fluency in English, German is a plus.Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of international payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws.
Experience with payroll software and accounting systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Experience with multi-state or international payroll.Core Competencies:
