We are on a mission to allow everyone to understand and be understood in their own language.Our success stems from a unique blend of the world’s #1 adaptive neural machine translation technology (IDC MarketScape 2022), the largest network of vetted, native-speaking professional translators, and top-ranked AI-enabled text, audio, and video translation tools (Gartner, 2022).By leveraging a seamless symbiosis of artificial intelligence and human creativity, we design custom localization projects that were previously unthinkable, helping more than 280,000 clients grow their businesses worldwide.We are looking for a Localisation Project Manager Intern.We are seeking a Project Manager Intern who will support our PjM team in managing translation projects and work with translators for our top clients in the digital space.We are offering an internship role for the duration of 6 months, in our offices in Rome.Key responsibilitiesYou will be supporting our team of Projects Managers in tasks related to:
  • Creating and managing projects for all service types based on agreed-upon processes, ensuring they are delivered on time, with the expected level of quality, and within budget.
  • Providing support to clients and linguists on a project-level, addressing questions, concerns, and ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Ensuring that clients are satisfied with the quality of service, including OTD and the quality of deliverables for their service offerings.
Requirements
  • Degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies, Language Studies, or a related field is preferred.
  • Understanding of the translation and localization dynamics
  • Familiarity with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools and other translation software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new challenges.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
  • Excellent computer and web skills required with a particular focus on G-suite and Google sheets.
