Nozomi Networks is hiring a Software Engineer to join its expanding team.This is a key position where you’ll face technical challenges involving distributed systems, data pipelines, scalability, and architectural design.   • Contribute to the design and development of our internal cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Support internal initiatives as part of an Enabling Team, automating key activities to increase departmental efficiency and enhance overall business impact.
  • Implement medium to large-scale features, keeping a strong focus on code quality, system maintainability, and technical debt reduction.
  • Select and use appropriate technologies while showing initiative in learning and adopting new tools as needed.
  • Take ownership of complex components from design to deployment, including post-release monitoring and iteration.
  • Support and collaborate proactively with teammates to ensure overall team and project success.
  • Work in a fast-paced, agile environment where flexibility, communication, and ownership are key.
  • Embrace and represent the Nozomi Networks cultural values, working with integrity, transparency, and a mission-driven mindset.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Solid programming experience in Python, Go, or similar languages, with an emphasis on backend development and distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally on AWS.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP) is highly valuable.
  • Experience with automated testing practices such as TDD or BDD.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and development workflows (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • The ability to work in privacy-sensitive and secure environments, with an understanding of data handling best practices.
  • A collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional and international team.
