- Design and develop electrical systems, including circuits, wiring diagrams, and components, for various projects.
- Create detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and drawings using industry-standard software.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Create technical specifications, instructions and tests for the Mk5 program
- Software creation, implementation and simulation of tests for PLCs programs in collaboration with external studio inside the group
- Coordinating prototype tests controls side and performing bench tests as part of the test program in collaboration with external studio inside the group
- Support the planning of projects regarding software development with external studio inside the group
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into new products or systems.
- Participate in product development from concept to production, including prototyping and testing.
- Identify and select appropriate components and materials for electrical designs.
- Conduct testing and validation of electrical and control systems to ensure functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, making design modifications as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and changes.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and provide support for procurement and manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate and analyse the cost of electrical components and systems.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest design optimizations.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.
- Ensure that all electrical designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure compliance.
- Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.
- Support production & service in case of problems with controls or electrical design
- Degree in electrical/electronic engineering, or min. technician degree with comparable, sound work experience in electrical engineering
- You possess in addition a high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and the desire to continuously learn and improve
- Experience in a PLC controls is a plus
- Experience in a R&D environment is a plus
- Experience with the chiller technology is a plus
