- Credit Documentation Analysis
- Analyze credit agreements and related legal documentation, ensuring full understanding of all aspects of deal closing and loan administration.
- Loan Servicing & Agency Functions
- Manage a wide range of loan servicing activities, including agency services and funding responsibilities across syndicated and bilateral facilities.
- Compliance & Regulatory Checks
- Verify and manage conditions precedent, including KYC/AML,
- Operational Coordination
- Liaise with the Back Office to validate operational feasibility of transactions. Prepare Deal Summary Term Sheets for the internal transfer of key information and verify correct booking. Complete post-closing workflows and collect final loan documentation.
- Agency Role Execution
- Act as intermediary and facilitator between borrowers and lenders, managing communications and resolving operational or contractual matters.
- Security Management
- Administer securities held in trust, including taking, maintaining, and releasing collateral based on instructions. Handle borrower and lender queries related to security packages and ensure accurate transfer of information to the Operations team.
- Financial Information Handling
- Receive and process financial data required under facility agreements (e.g., financial statements, compliance certificates), ensuring proper review and system entry via CRM platforms.
- Contractual Amendments & Waivers
- Support the management of waivers, amendments, material transactions, real estate disposals, restricted accounts, and waterfall clauses.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Interface with internal departments including Credit, Origination, Treasury, Compliance, Legal, and Secondary Loan Trading, as well as external clients and counterparties.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in middle office lending, agency services, or structured finance.
- Solid understanding of syndicated loan structures, facility agreements, and intercreditor arrangements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with loan administration platforms (Loan IQ) knowledge is preferred is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of the LMA standard is valued, but not a prerequisite.
- Experience with international lending and cross-border documentation.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
