- Strategic Business Development: Identify and cultivate potential new customers within the defined OEM market segment and region. Qualify and develop them to achieve new business and sales aligned with our company's strategic vision.
- Travel Opportunities: Embark on exciting journeys across Italy, up to 50% of the time, to engage with clients, discover new opportunities, and strengthen relationships.
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs. Generate leads through cold calling prospective customers.
- Client Relationship Management: Manage and maintain relationships with key clients and customers. Proactively engage with both new and existing customers to maximize sales and organic growth.
- Project Leadership: Be a driving force in new development projects by actively liaising with prospects, customers, and internal teams (R&D, Engineering, QA). Manage projects from conception to successful completion.
- Contract Negotiation: Showcase your negotiation skills in securing contracts. Meet with purchasing, procurement, and key decision-makers to establish firm and profitable customer relationships.
- Strategic Analysis: Analyze and report key sales and project management data, forecasting future expectations for the region.
- Business Expansion: Discover and explore new business opportunities (NBOs) within your territory. Screen the territory for leads and potential prospects.
- Relationship Building: Arrange and conduct business meetings with prospective clients. Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key customer accounts.
- Customer Needs Assessment: Assess customers' needs and align them with the company's capabilities. Follow up with new leads and referrals generated from the sales team.
- Performance Tracking: Prepare status reports on goals using Salesforce to manage the entire interaction.
Europe
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/ B.sc Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics)
- 10+ years of experience in sales and business development in the following industries: industrial automation, packaging, medical, construction or agriculture
- Significant experience in sales of technical products
- Strong business/finance background and experience
- Knowledge of commercial transactional process involved with sales
- Previous experience negotiating multi-year contracts with large, global OEMs
- Excellent communication and presentation skill
- Background in transducer/load cells or sensors a plus
