RINA is currently recruiting for a Soil Mechanics Engineer.RINA is seeking VAT-registered professionals for possible collaboration in the following role. Should you meet the requirements, please apply by sending an updated cv indicating years of experience in the role. 3 to 5 years of experience in the role is not mandatory but will be a plus.Soil Mechanics EngineerRole DescriptionMission▪ Perform the Soil Mechanics activities within the assigned budget, time schedule, specifications and quality standards, both in normal and in non-routine conditions▪ Ensure the capitalization of Project experience in the soil activities in order to improve work methodologies in future projects, for better effectiveness▪ Be aware of the state-of-art in design and construction, being opened to new developments and to the experiences of partners and competitorsTasksThe Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements.Tasks include:A-Development Technology know how and Commercial support.B-FeasibilityC-Bidding phase/Commercial proposal developmentD-Project Execution (Job progress and completion)▪ Ensure Technical Bid Evaluations for soil investigations, piling and soil improvement activities▪ Ensure Vendor follow-up for specialized geotechnical activitiesE-Construction and start up▪ Support field supervision during execution of piles and soil improvement activitiesF-Home office activities (master)#LI-FC1With over 5,600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries worldwide, RINA is a multinational player which provides certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision and vendor inspection, training and engineering consultancy services across a wide range of sectors.
