Role Overview:We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented resource to join our growing team and support our production and supply chain operations. This internship is a great opportunity for Engineering or Economics related fields students and recent graduate who wants to gain hands-on experience in the planning and execution of operational activities in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.You will work closely with production, R&D and procurement teams to support the development and optimization of planning tools, processes and workflows related to procurement and manufacturing of advanced metamaterials.Key Responsibilities:1. Support procurement, production planning and suppy chain operations2. Improve supply chain workflows and inventory management3. Support quality control of manufacturing and products4. Contribute to the standardization and documentation of operational procedures5. Analyze data and propose solutions to improve production and purchase efficiency and reduce lead times6. Participate in internal meetings and provide support on cross-functional projects related to operationsQualifications:1. Engineering Degree is preferred2. Strong analytical mindset and interest in operations, planning and production processes3. Familiarity with Excel4. Proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment5. Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)6. Prior experience (e.g., thesis project, internship, university lab) in production/operations is a plus, but not required7.
