- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team (some of it outsourced) in the design, development, and optimization of hydrogen-based energy systems.
- Apply principles of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and electromechanical integration in the design and analysis of complex systems.
- Design and validate valves, Pumps, flow and pressure regulation systems, gas/liquid handling components and automatic filtration units.
- Translate R&D concepts into manufacturable products, ensuring Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) best practices.
- Interface with cross-functional teams to support technology transfer from prototype to serial production.
- Select and qualify components in line with industry safety and manufacturing standards.
- Conduct and review system-level simulations and calculations to validate performance.
- Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings and documentation using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks).
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure component feasibility, tolerancing, and cost-effectiveness.
- Define test plans and support validation of pressure, flow, and thermal performance for critical systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical system design.
- Strong understanding of hydrogen production systems, gas dynamics, and liquid transport mechanisms.
- Demonstrated experience in valve design, flow control, and pressure acquisition systems.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
- Proven experience with industry safety, assembly, and manufacturing standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, CE).
- Experience transitioning products from concept to serial manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerancing.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
- Technical English proficiency.
- Experience in the energy, hydrogen, or cleantech sectors.
- Knowledge of thermal management systems and their applications in high-efficiency energy systems.
- Familiarity with sensor integration for pressure, temperature, and flow measurement.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and development processes.
